Founded in 2026, boxd builds development environments for fast-growing engineering teams: lightning-fast, persistent-by-default, hardware-isolated, and forkable machines. Soon, 99.9% of code will be written and maintained by agents, and they'll need billions of machines exactly like these. That's what we're building.
About the role
You'll work side by side with the founders on whatever moves the company forward that week: talking to the engineering teams using boxd, running go-to-market experiments, building internal automations, shaping ops and hiring, and turning messy problems into systems that run without you.
This is a role for a generalist who wants to learn how a company gets built from the inside.
What you'll do
- Own projects end to end across growth, operations, and hiring.
- Talk to the engineering teams using boxd and bring what you hear back into the company.
- Build the systems, docs, and processes the team runs on.
- Organize internal and external events: team breakfasts, meetups, and the moments that make the company feel like one.
- Run our social media presence and grow the audience around boxd.
About you
- You're highly proactive. You make things happen, and you don't wait to be told how.
- You're sharp, organized, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- You're genuinely interested in technology: you've built something yourself out of interest, and you want to understand what we build and why it matters.
- You're AI native in how you think and work: your first move on any task is to see how far AI takes it.
- You communicate clearly, in writing and in the room.
- You want to start companies one day, and you want a front-row seat first.
- You're in Amsterdam, or excited to relocate.
